Honesty

Limitations to know before buying

  • Nothing is submitted on its own: call-to-action buttons point to a link you replace (booking, payment, sign-up).
  • 4 “#” links to replace with your own URLs (commented in the code).
  • No CMS or admin panel: copy is edited directly in the .tsx files.
  • Copy is in French only, with no translation system.
  • No photos included: visuals are drawn in CSS/SVG. Add your own images if your business needs them.
  • Fonts load from Google Fonts; self-host them if you want to avoid that third-party request (GDPR).
  • No analytics or cookie banner: add them if you need them.
  • Requires Node.js 18.18 or later (a Next.js 15 requirement).
  • Reviews, counters and figures in the demo are examples: publishing them as-is would mislead your visitors.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Compatible with Substack, beehiiv, ConvertKit?

Yes: the shipped form handles the confirmation state and connects to your tool's endpoint (comment in place). You can also simply point the button at your subscription page.

Can I change the contrarian tone of the demo?

Of course. The sections, sample issue and quotes are marked text blocks — the soft neo-brutalist style suits any assertive editorial positioning.

Are the archives dynamic?

They are static cards to edit (title + link to your published issues). Simple, with no API dependency.

Why a dedicated page rather than my Substack page?

Your domain, your SEO, your pixel, your design. The Substack page converts visitors who are already convinced; this one convinces the rest.

Read before you buy

  • Landing pages for email campaigns: extend the email, don't betray it

A subscriber who clicks in your email has already given you three things: their address, their attention and a precise interest signal — the link they chose. Sending them to the homepage or a generic page throws those three assets away and starts from zero. An email campaign's landing page is built on what you already know about the visitor.

  • Landing page for a giveaway: rules, mechanics, and conversion rate

A giveaway run entirely through comments on an Instagram post captures entrants, not leads: once the draw is over, there's no email address, no consent record, no way to follow up with anyone. A dedicated landing page fixes this — provided it follows a precise legal framework and picks the right entry mechanic.

  • Newsletter landing page: how to turn visitors into subscribers

The default sign-up page from your email tool asks one question: "want to subscribe?". A real landing page answers three others first: about what, how often, and why you rather than one more feed in an already full inbox.

  • Landing page for a paid newsletter: converting free readers into paying subscribers

Charging for a newsletter isn't the same conversion as getting it read for free: the reader isn't discovering content anymore, they're giving up a comfortable status quo — free, no card required — for a recurring charge. The page structure that makes that leap feel obvious, not risky.

  • Landing page pricing in 2026: how much does it really cost?

From €89 to €10,000, the price gap for a landing page is dizzying. A comparison table of the 4 options — freelancer, agency, page builder, template — and the factors that drive the bill up or down.
