Privacy policy

Data collected

When you purchase, Stripe collects the data required for payment (email, payment method). LanderKit only receives your email and the order details, in order to deliver the product and provide support. The site sets no advertising tracking cookies; Google Analytics audience measurement only runs with your consent (see below).

Tips emails and free resources

When you request a free resource (for instance the CRO checklist), we collect your email and, if you provide it, your first name — only with your explicit consent (unticked checkbox: "I agree to receive conversion tips and offers by email") — in order to send you conversion tips and our offers. This data is stored in a dedicated database hosted with DigitalOcean, together with the date and exact wording of your consent; your IP address is never stored in clear text (an anonymised fingerprint only, for anti-abuse purposes). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to admin@tech-bharat.com; your data is then deleted, and at the latest 3 years after your last contact.

“Hire a professional” requests

When you describe a project in the “Would you rather hire a professional?” form, we collect your email and, if you provide them, your phone number, first name, company, city or postcode, budget, timeline and project description, plus the page you wrote from. Purpose: putting you in touch with a professional who can do the work. Recipients: Tech-Bharat (Clément Lacaille, publisher of this site) and, if needed, up to 3 partner professionals (web developers and landing page agencies), who may contact you by phone or email about your request. Legal basis: your consent, given through a separate, unticked checkbox; the exact wording and date are stored. Retention: at most 3 years after your request, unless you make a new one. You can withdraw your consent and ask for deletion at any time by writing to admin@tech-bharat.com; withdrawal does not undo transfers already made, but we then ask the partners concerned to stop contacting you.

Purposes and legal bases

• Contract performance: template delivery, support, updates.
• Legal obligations: invoicing and accounting.
• Legitimate interest: payment fraud prevention (through Stripe).
• Consent: sending conversion tips and offers by email, withdrawable at any time.
• Consent: passing a service request on to Tech-Bharat and partner professionals (3 at most), withdrawable at any time.

Retention periods

Order data is kept for the legal retention period applicable to accounting documents (10 years). Support emails are kept for 3 years after the last contact.

Payment page

The email address entered on our payment page is recorded as soon as it is typed, together with the contents of the order. If the payment is not completed, we may send you a single email to resume your order (unsubscribe link included); the address is never used for a newsletter nor shared. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); kept for 3 months at most. Card details are entered in Stripe's secure fields and never reach us.

1-click purchase (fx1c cookie)

After a first purchase, the site sets an fx1c cookie (HttpOnly, secure) that only holds your Stripe customer ID, signed so it cannot be forged. Its sole purpose is to offer 1-click purchase with the card Stripe keeps (the site only shows its brand and last 4 digits and stores no card data). Duration: 13 months. Legal basis: performance of the contract (cookie needed for the service you ask for). You can delete it from your browser and ask at any time for the saved card to be deleted at Stripe by writing to admin@tech-bharat.com.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4) and cookies

Since 5 October 2026, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to measure site traffic and sales (page views, viewing a template or the bundle, clicking through to payment, confirmed purchase), only if you agree in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept, no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set; “Decline” is as easy as “Accept”. Legal basis: your consent. GA4 does not store IP addresses. Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) last up to 13 months; your choice is kept for 6 months in your browser. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Since 23 October 2026, we also use PostHog (PostHog Inc., data hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used and improve it. Without your consent, PostHog works without cookies and stores nothing in your browser: it counts page views, clicks and errors anonymously (IP address not kept). With your consent, it sets an identifier (6 months at most) and may record how your visit unfolds (movements, clicks, scrolling) to spot what gets in the way; the fields you fill in are masked and never recorded, and nothing is recorded on the download pages of your purchases. Recordings are kept for 30 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring traffic for anonymous measurement, your consent for the identifier and recordings, which you can withdraw with “Manage cookies”.

Processors

Stripe (payment), Vercel (hosting), GitHub (code hosting), DigitalOcean (email database hosting), PostHog (PostHog Inc., data hosted in the European Union, Frankfurt: analytics and site improvement). Each provides GDPR-compliant safeguards for any transfers outside the EU.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them: admin@tech-bharat.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.
